He tries to wake her but she refuses to get up. The next morning Riley is once again up and dressed while Jenai is still in bed. After searching most of the day they go back to their room and go to bed. Jenai questions if this could be the rapture. They take the car and their search continues. They find a car in the middle of the road still in drive. They leave the hotel in search for other people. Riley looks for webcams around the world and they are all empty of life. Riley is checking the internet trying to find out what's going on. Janei keeps calling and texting her family. The only programs not working are the news shows. The restaurant has TV'son and they begin to flip through the channels. They end up in a restaurant after walking the whole city looking for other people. They call their families and no one answers. Feeling panicked they start looking in the buildings but cannot find anyone. As they continue they start to yell out to anyone that could hear them. Walking down the street they start to notice that it seems empty. They go down and find there is no continental breakfast.

He starts to wake up a sleepy Jenai who doesn't want to get up. That morning Riley is up and ready to go. There is a strange light in the sky that flashes into a blinding light that encompasses everything. Jenai gets up and noticed there is a light coming from outside. Next it is the middle of the night and they are asleep in their hotel room. They walk up to a waterfall and stand under it seemly happy and in love. All the while Riley is still taking pictures. Next they go out with a tour group to the mountainside. They end up at a church and speak to the Pastor who talks to them for a bit about the history of Iceland. Riley talks about his love for taking photos. They stop to eat and discuss if they can find film for the camera. Next they are out site seeing and various other activities while Riley continues to take pictures. They arrive at their hotel, put their things away and look out the window. Riley takes out his camera and starts taking pictures. Seven out of ten from me.The couple, Jenai and Riley are napping on a bus that is traveling in beautiful open land. All in all a mixed film that I personally believe, needed to offer a little more focus, to have broad appeal but is still an interesting watch nonetheless. In this respect this film really is quite outstanding. Its wide screen cinematic's are really quite breath taking when combined with Iceland's exceptional, rugged natural beauty.

What is remarkable, is the visual quality of this film. The problem with this film is its so quiet and so subtle, that is, out of focus, that its very understandable, that its meaning may be overlooked.Personally I liked Bokeh but I can fully appreciate why others may not be so taken with it. Indeed, as the only supporting character hints at, we are "one and one and one". One see's the beauty and opportunity in their newfound "freedom", whilst the other simply feels constrained, isolated and oppressed by it. As the film unfolds, what it means to be alive clearly has different meanings, for the main characters. Most specifically, its true message, as I understand it, is about the meaning of "existence". It's message has a diffused quality that's difficult to pinpoint. Certainly, there is much about this film that's out of focus. Its an appropriate starting point, when discussing this film. Bokeh is a Japanese term that describes out of focus points of light.
